This site is a tribute to Hema ‘Nandi’ Perera, who was born in Sri Lanka and lived and worked all her life in London since 1968. She is much loved and will always be remembered. 

This site is a tribute in loving memory of Hema ’Nandi’ Perera who is much loved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Mother-in-law, Sister, Aunt and friend.  She lived a  happy family life with her devoted loving husband, daughter and son taking great tender loving care of her right to her last breath.  Atypical Parkinsonism’s consumed her body in the last few years of her life which meant she needed help with everything towards the end of her life.  Please kindly generously donate in loving memory of Hema ‘Nandi’ to advance science and medicine to find a cure for others so that they may live longer to enjoy an independent life experiencing fully life’s simple pleasures. 

Funeral will take place on 29th July 2019 at the City of London crematorium.
